Practice Overview
The Glebe Family Practice is a long-established GP Practice in Gillingham with a ptiernt list of over 5,000 patients. Our team includes two GP partners and practice nurse and health care assistant. They are supported by our practice manager and administrative and reception staff.
The Practice is part of Gillingham South Primary Care Network (PCN), a group of GP Practices in the locality serving 80,000 patients in total. Funding via the PCN has expanded the workforce so that we now also have the services of a Clinical Pharmacist, First Contact Physiotherapist and a Social Prescriber. These team members are shared across the network, and there are plans to expand these resources to include paramedic and mental health practitioners in the forthcoming year. It is hoped this will go some way to addressing the shortage of trained GPs .
We provide our registered patients all core NHS-funded general medical services as well as a number of enhanced medical services and private medical services not funded by the NHS.
We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.
Car parking and disabled access
The practice has a small car park for patients using the practice for an appointment, which includes parking spaces for blue badge holders. Further car parking is available in nearby public car parks and on-street parking.
There is easy access into the practice and we have disabled toilet facilities.
