Private Medical Services
The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions, passport signing, some vaccination services and certain medicals which can only be booked privately, such as employment and insurance medicals. Our fees for these services, which are in line with BMA approved national guidelines, are displayed below.
If you are booking a medical please tell the receptionist when making you call so that a longer appointment can be allocated. Some medicals will need to be carried out by a GP other than your own.

Please note that this practice has a policy of not writing letters of support for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applications and does not support Benefit Agency Appeals. Where the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has need for further information, they will write to the Practice requesting such information, which we will then supply.

Travel Immunisations
Please note we do not provide private a travel clinic service i.e. if a treatment is not available on the NHS you will need to attend elswhere for the service. e.g. for Hepatitis B, Rabies, duplicate services and some Malaria tablets.
If you are enquiring about travel immunisations please print off and complete the travel questionnaire and return this to the Medical Practice. Our Travel Nurse will review the information you supply on the form and contact you to advise you which immunisations are appropriate.

Online Services
If you have registered for Patient Access online patients services, you can use the website or app to request and cancel appointments, update your personal details and view your medical record online.
Remote Consultations
Our remote triage & consultation system, eConsult, allows you to fill out a simple online form to request medical advice and appointments and make administrative requests such as sick certificates and medical reports.
